Its been awhile! Just wanted to update everyone on our adoption process! Bryan and I both had to be seen by our Primary Care Providers and get medical clearance that we are healthy. Next step is taking domestic adoption classes through the adoption agency that is going to be doing our home study for us. We have 12 hours of this and then we meet with the social worker at our home and at the agencies office. Once this is complete and they get a better picture of who we are they put together a binder of papers that completes the home study and they send that to our agency! Once that is complete we will be ready to have our profile go active! We are unsure of God's timing after that but this process has taught us to trust in him!
Don't get me wrong, its been really hard to be patient! But thankfully we have had our families visit the last couple of months to help us stay busy and positive. We are so thankful for the time we got to spend with them and made so many wonderful memories!
We have more visitors on the docket! So more pictures and blog posts to come :)
Once we finish the adoption classes I will get to share more on the home study process and all that entails! Its exciting to be this close in the process :)
